There are 25,200 reasons to have us inspect your fireplace.  That is the number of homes in America that burned in 2004 due to a fire in the fireplace, chimney or chimney connector (latest available statistics from the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, July, 2007). There are another 6,800 reasons to have your dryer vent swept.  That is the number of residential fires on top of the figure above that were due to lint build up in the dryer vent.  Since our company is owned and operated by Vestavia Hills firefighters, we will not compromise  the safety of you or your home. Also, since we are active duty firefighters, we have no reason to sell you products or services you may not need.  Want to talk to or see the owner?  No problem, since we are locally owned.  We also use local fabricators for our custom work.  We have been nationally certified and are members of NCSG as well as being BBB accredited.  We are able to perform virtually all repairs to fireplaces, chimneys, chimney chases and dryer vent systems.  While minor repair quotes are given on site, major repairs quotes are prepared in the office.  We want to be good stewards of your money, and major repair estimates are not rushed through at the site.  We take the time to prepare a detailed quote, and we stand behind our quotes.  We will not ask you for more money during or after the repair, because we take the time to prepare the right quote the first time. Likewise, we will not pressure you to have the repair performed right then--the repair is performed when you are ready.  Finally, for your convenience, we accept VIsa and MasterCard as forms of payment.
